Wayne Bauer has extensive experience with artificial reef projects. He has engineered, built and deployed thousands of reef modules across the Gulf of Mexico for various nonprofits, universities and state government agencies.
Mr. Bauer is the inventor & patent holder of artificial reef technology with another entity he is 50% owner of, Atlantis Marine Habitats. He developed the proprietary system as a means of overcoming the challenges faced with forming and deploying large quantities of concrete pyramids, to be used as artificial reefs.

Having spent his childhood in Miami, Key West and the Bahamas with his family of boating lovers and anglers, he has a true passion for marine habitats. Combining his love of the ocean's life forms, with this passion for engineering ingenuity, has made working with artificial reefs the perfect fit for his background.
